February Session: Expanding the Conversation; From Reacting in the Moment to Improved CommunicationsThis live, virtual presentation will focus on understanding family dynamics with techniques for parents to instill values and goals without being (or appearing) judgmental. We’ll discuss calming responses that work toward furthering conversations so the teen and parent can both feel heard and moving forward. Our presenter will be John Hart, Ph.D., LCMFT, of Relationship Counseling Center of Maryland.There will be time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
