Managing the Risks and Opportunities of AI:
An All-School Approach

Tuesday, April 21, 2026
9:00-11:00 a.m.

National Cathedral School
 3612 Woodley Road NW
Washington, DC

AI is not just a “tech thing” or an academic topic or a risk issue. Rather, it has integrated itself into every corner of a school’s work. Effectively managing AI calls for a coordinated, schoolwide effort that brings together leaders with diverse roles and perspectives to ensure that institutional use is safe, effective, and aligned with core values.

Come hear from the leadership team at Georgetown Day School about how they are implementing an institution-wide approach to AI policy and use. The group will share how it has coordinated among the teaching and learning department, the business office, the operations team and the head of school’s office to develop values-aligned practices that operate across the institution. You'll hear concrete examples of what has worked well, what has been challenging, and will have ample time for questions and discussion.

Heads of school, academic leaders, CFOs and strategic and operations leaders are welcome to attend, and schools are encouraged to participate in teams.

Cost: $55 per person
