AISGW is pleased to offer this fall subscription series , “Building Belonging,” to support our member schools’ diversity, equity an d inclusion work. The goal of this series is to provide deeper learning opp ortunities for educators who are working to create more inclusive school co mmunities. We hope that these offerings can meet much of a school’s profess ional development needs in the area of DEI.
The series includes seven workshops covering a ra nge of DEI topics (see below). By registering for the series, a school can send an unlimited number of participants -- from administrators to trustees to classroom teachers -- to each of the listed sessions for one flat fee. The subscription fee is $675 per school. Please note that due to the nature of the topic, the sessions will not be recorded.
As part of registration, participant schools will appoint a cont act person who will coordinate internally with members of your school commu nity who plan to attend the series. The contact person could be the DEI dir ector, heads' assistant, professional development leader, assistant head -- whoever makes sense for your school! The contact person will receive the Z oom link before each session and distribute the link as well as any related program materials to your school's attendees.
Sessions will be offered twice mont hly at 4:00 pm for either 60 or 90 minutes from late September to December. All sessions will take place virtually. The sessions are intended for head s of school, trustees, division leaders, DEI practitioners, counselors, and in some cases, teacher-leaders. Schools may determine who they would like to attend each session and there will be no limit on the number of attendee s per school.
Registration for the series has closed.
Please contact Lynn Maloney for information on how to register for the
remaining sessions
