January 25: Self Regulation and Wellness in TeensThis live, virtual presentation will focus on the importance of building skills in Self Regulation, which helps all students in the adolescent years, not just for teens who struggle with this on a more daily basis. In this presentation we will understand more about how Self Regulation is monitored in the brain. We will also discuss how family supports can be an essential part in developing emotional wellness with strategies in developing a new "default mode". Stress behavior does not mean misbehavior, it just means that a different approach can work better. Our speakers will have some brief time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
