Responding to Student Abuse Concerns

Schools have rigorous student abuse prevention protocols, but sometimes concerns do come up. This session will help you navigate tricky situations including:

  • What are the standard steps to take?
  • How have these standards changed over time?
  • Do you really need to report in many of these situations?
  • Who does the reporting?
  • Do you tell a family when you are required to report an issue?

  • This session is free for participants from AISGW, SAIS, and TAIS member schools.
  • The fee for non-member participants is $25 per person.
  • The Zoom link will be included in the reminder emails sent 24 hours and 2 hours prior to the start time.
  • The session will be recorded and a link will be emailed to all registrants within 24 hours.
